Yeshiva High School of Arizona received a new Torah last weekend, and nearly 300 people attended an Oct. 28 dedication ceremony to welcome it.The David and Ruth Semel Memorial Sefer Torah was dedicated by Shaya and Pnina Semel, as well as Yaakov and Shani Segal, in memory of the grandparents of Rabbi Yossie Semel of the Phoenix Community Kollel.

Yeshiva Celebrates First Graduating Class
Yeshiva High School of Arizona celebrated its first graduation and siyum banquet on June 17 with more than 250 members of the community at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort. The banquet honored the parents of the students who founded the yeshiva.
